Heilbronn district supports plug-in solar devices with 100 euros
Promotion of plug-in solar devices
In order to increase awareness of the use of renewable energies among citizens, the Heilbronn district will be funding plug-in solar devices with 100 euros per applicant from August 1, 2023. A total funding volume of 100,000 euros is available for 1,000 applications.
With this funding, the Heilbronn district wants to increasingly promote the topic of photovoltaics and support all citizens - both homeowners and tenants - in converting part of their electricity supply to renewable energy. In this way, the district wants to make a further local contribution to climate protection and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
All natural persons are eligible to apply, in particular landlords, tenants or owners of an apartment in an apartment building or a single-family home within the Heilbronn district.
The installation of plug-in solar devices - also called balcony photovoltaics or plug-in photovoltaics - is funded if they are used exclusively for private purposes and purchased after August 1, 2023.
In addition, the system must meet all legal requirements. According to the Baden-Württemberg Consumer Center, this currently refers to solar modules with an output of up to 600 watts and an inverter that are connected to a circuit. With a view to legal adjustments, which are expected to take place in the coming months, 800-watt systems can also be installed now if they can be demonstrably reduced to 600 watts by the time the law is amended.
The invoice for the plug-in solar device and proof of registration with the local network operator must be submitted. The funding application can be submitted after the solar device has been put into operation, but the claim to funding expires six months after it has been put into operation.
Funding applications can be made from Tuesday, August 1, 2023, here be provided.
Current note: There is currently a delay in the application review.
